
This one is all time favorite and kids love it. It will take 20 minutes to cook for 3-4 persons.
• prawns: 300gm or 5-6 prawns(medium sized)
• white pepper: to taste
• corn flour: 1tbs
• bird's eye chilies: 3-4
• curry leaves: 3-4
• evaporated milk: 2tbs
• garlic: 2 gloves(chopped)
• Nestum cereal: 8-10tbs
• sugar and sugar: According to taste
1. Season the prawns with some white pepper and salt for about 10 minutes.
2. Lightly coat the prawns with corn flour.
3. Shallow fried the prawns on high heat until cooked and crispy. Drain and set aside.
4. Remove the curry leaves from stalks.
5. Finely chop the garlic and chilies separately. Set aside.
6. Heat up the cooking oil, and add in chopped garlic, chopped chilies and curry leaves. Stir fry until it is aromatic.
7. Add in evaporated milk, sugar and salt. Mix well.
8. Add in the prawns and nestum. Mix well and continue to stir fry until the Nestum becomes golden brown and crunchy. Add more seasoning if needed. Serve hot.
