
Frozen Prawns are to be unfrosted first.
• Medium to large Fresh or frozen prawns: 500g or 10-12prawns (trimmed)
• Butter: 45g
• Bird’s eye chilies: 3 (chopped)
• Curry leaves: 10-12
• Garlic cloves: 3 (chopped)
• Sugar: 1tbs
• Soy sauce: 1tbs
• Rice wine: 1tbs
• Fresh coconut: 6tbs (grated)
• salt: According to taste
1. Add enough oil to pan and deep fry the prawns until they turn pink. Drain out the excess oil.
2. Melt the butter in a pan and add curry leaves, chilies and garlic. Fry for 2 minutes.
3. Now add prawns, sugar, grated coconut and rice wine to it and heat for a minute or two (stir well).
4. Serve hot.
